Bust of Alexander Sergeyevich Pushkin was presented to reserve in Pushkinskiye Gory (Pushkin Hills) by a company from Germany
On the April 11th took place a solemn ceremony of donating the bust of the great Russian poet Pushkin at the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Berlin.
The sculpture based on sketches by the Berlin artist A. Schwarzbach was made by a well-known art casting company from Lauchhammer , ordered by the German Pushkin Society and the recently deceased businessman from Potsdam R. Opitts.
The bust, which will be a small but important contribution to the improvement of relations between Russia and Germany, will be solemnly presented in Mikhailovsky on June 6th, 2019, on the 220th anniversary of the birth of the great poet.
The event will be attended by the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Germany S. Nechaev, employees of the Embassy, members of the German Pushkin Society and the German-Russian Forum, and by the widow of Mr. Opitts.
